Our Story: Why Wāṣil?
Upon arriving in Egypt to study Islam, I saw that many students and muhajiroon were signing up for phone services that often included late payment fees or were not truly unlimited. Seeing the struggle for a genuinely halal, fair, and transparent option, I decided to create Wāṣil—a service with no late payment fees, actually unlimited plans, and clear policies. Today, Wāṣil offers UK, US, France, and Germany phone numbers for £12/month, with more EU countries added every month.
Wāṣil is built as a halal solution based on Islamic values and fairness in communication—with integrity at its core. While Wāṣil is halal in practice and in our dealings, it is not halal certified. Our aim is honest, affordable connections that allow Muslims to stay true to their values without compromise.
